Learn How to Profit From Your Email Subscribers

Do you have email subscribers? Do you have targeted email subscribers? Don’t go to one of those illegal websites that sell you email addresses by the truckload, those email’s are nothing more than a waste of your money. I’m talking about your targeted email subscribers from your website or blog. If you gather emails from your website or blog, you can be guaranteed that they are worthy and targeted visitors because they are truly interesting in what you have to say.

If you are not gathering email addresses from your website or blog you are truly missing out on a free advertising option. Not only is it a great marketing option, there is also huge opportunity for you to make money through affiliate marketing. So, before you go another day without trying to gather email addresses, you should go and create an email address subscription form and place it in a highly visible ‘real estate’ section on your website or blog.

Obviously email marketing isn’t as effective as it used to be, but there is still good marketing strategies in email marketing. There are upsides and downsides to email marketing. The downside is that often emails will go to your subscribers spam folder, but the upside is that your email subscribers are interesting what you have to say and what you have to promote because they actually subscribed to you.

So, even though there are pros and cons to email marketing, it is still a huge source of income for many people. Obviously don’t send out 18 spammy emails per day to all of your subscribers, you will soon loose your subscribers and credibility in the online community. So, I suggest no more than one email per week, and make sure it is not a sales pitch, instead write a useful article that someone would want to read, and insert some affiliate links in the body of that article. Don’t just add a link and say something like:

“click here and get rich tomorrow”

Never promote scam products, and ever sound like a scam artist. Instead promote products that you yourself would actually use or that you would actually buy for yourself. Also, don’t push products onto your subscribers, you want to be credible because you have a reputation uphold. So, write an article that will be useful to your subscribers and insert one or two affiliate links where you think your readers would be interested in find out more.

Another tip I have to explain is that you should never just place affiliate links directly into your email message. You should always use a keyword targeted link, and use a site like bit.ly to hide and track your affiliate links. By tracking your links you can learn what your email readers actually click and what they are interested in.

You should always listen to your blog, website, and email subscribers to figure out what they want to read about. So, plan your next email carefully and insert affiliate links in the body of your message so that you can begin to profit from your email subscribers. Making money on a website or blog is not the only way to generate a income source, email marketing is still a great way to bring in some more money.
