How Web 2.0 Can Get You Qualified Life Insurance Leads
Web 2.0 is one of those terms that you rarely hear. So what in the heck is Web 2.0? It is an easier, more user friendly approach to using the internet for your life insurance business. You can use it in many ways to generate qualified life insurance leads for your business, or possibly to recruit some individuals to join your firm. The possibilities really are endless. Many of us use Web 2.0 without knowing it. A great example would be MySpace or Facebook, which are social networking sites that even a 13 year old could use with ease.
You see, back in the day if you did not know HTML or some type of internet language, your business was not online, period. Nowadays with the simplicity of Web 2.0 you can have a website, a blog, or a forum up in literally minutes. You can think of Web 2.0 as point and click internet. Instead of having to do the grueling task of writing relentless code to put a picture somewhere on your website like you had to do back in the old days, you can now literally have it all done visually. If you want the picture to be in the center of the screen, all you have to do is click and drag it to the center and it will be there.
So why is it that many individuals do not utilize this feature to spread their message around for their business? Truth be told many of them have not heard about it. The internet is a giant, and a lot of people are afraid to step out of their comfort zone. They think that they are either going to “mess something up” or have to learn some complex system. When in reality it is one of the most simplest ways to get yourself and your business out there.
Web 2.0 & Qualified Life Insurance Leads
Getting qualified life insurance leads does not have to be the most difficult, or most expensive task with your life insurance business. I don’t know about you, but I don’t consider buying a life insurance lead list as qualified life insurance leads. First of all the lists claim to be “exclusive” but you know that you are not the only agent in your zip code who is being solicited by companies wanting to sell you a life insurance lead list. Lets face the facts, they are in business to make sales as well, and they are not going to limit themselves to just you.
The route to generating qualified life insurance leads with Web 2.0 is much more tangible. Lets say for example this article that I am writing, it will stay alive FOREVER, and the more and more content that you put up, the more and more people will read, it would build up your credibility significantly. If you are looking for a quick fix, you are definitely not going to find one. The reason being is because it does not exist. Everything in life is a step by step process. Getting qualified life insurance leads follows this same rule.
Imagine if you had just 10 articles or so that were constantly being visited by individuals that read what you had to say and bookmarked your page. If you had 5 individuals read your article per day, and they truly gathered some information about it and wanted more from you the author, then you just established 35 qualified life insurance leads. That sounds pretty darn good to me because if they had a question you would be the first person they shot en e-mail to in order to find the answer. Now if the problem could not get resolved through e-mail or over the phone then you can book an appointment with them to help them out in person. Think about the two of you meeting for a second, your prospect would welcome you with open arms because he has already gotten to know you through your articles. You would enter the door as a solution rather than a salesman.
Which brings us the another question, what is the cost of using Web 2.0?
Web 2.0 – The Costs
The very best part about using Web 2.0 to market for qualified life insurance leads is that it is absolutely FREE. That’s right, it costs you nothing to put up an article on this website, and most other websites. There are tons of social sites out there that allow you to express your creativity, business and products without any costs at all. For those individuals that are looking for an inexpensive way to market their products or business ideas there is no better way to get the word out there than using Web 2.0.
By implementing what you have read here into your life insurance business, you can make a massive difference in your venture to generate qualified life insurance leads. Qualified life insurance leads do not have to have any cost associated with them, and should require no cold-calling of any sort. Using various different social networking sites could have a drastic impact on your life insurance business. As I mentioned there are no quick solutions to long term problems, so it is best to take a more tangible approach and watch the snowball effect go from small to big.
