Lady’s Golf – Caring For Your Clubs
Are you fairly new at golf? Looking for all the tips and information you can get about the sport?
I initially started playing golf out of a rather evil desire to beat my husband at his favorite game. But what started out as friendly competition turned into something nobler. I actually found myself enjoying the game. It’s something my girl friends have trouble understanding: how in the world can you enjoy standing under the sun for hours, chasing after a white ball?
But what can I say? I love playing golf. What don’t I like about it? Well, besides losing to my husband time and again, I have to say that the only thing I dislike about golf are the muddied golf clubs I have to take home after.
I admit. I’m a little OC. I like to keep things clean and neat. Including my golf clubs. So, if you’re like me, here are some tips on how to keep your clubs clean, after a day spent outdoors.
1. Head Covers
Buy head covers for your clubs. This will not only keep them clean but also protect them from knocking into each other and getting scratched.
2. Wipe Clean
Wipe off mud and sand with a moistened cloth immediately after use. It’s harder to take muck off after it has dried.
3. Soap and Water
Wash rubber grips with soap and water after use.
With these 3 tips, your golf clubs will be squeaky clean all the time. Happy playing!
